Tibia is weird on windows 8, recently installed it and it sucks basically. Better wait for cipsoft to fix it.

I'd agree with Lure Avos ^: Intel is obviously more powerful but if you're even hesitating because of price, go with AMD no doubt. I built my PC at the beginning of this year and bought the Phenom 2 x4 965 for like $100 and it works wonders for my needs. I didn't bother buying a better video card because I already had a functioning one and I don't really play any games that are too graphically inclined, nor would I HAVE to play them on ultra graphics, but this runs all games i've played so far perfectly fine on medium settings (Obviously Tibia isn't going to take much). With my super old graphics card, I can run Guild Wars 2 fluently and can get 250 fps here on tibia. As of now, most games aren't set up to properly utilize all 8 cores of an AMD processor either, so in my opinion, you wouldn't be sacrificing much buying an older phenom or even going to the AMD FX 6300/6100. Oh and my Phenom is currently pretty loud while running (because the boxed fan blows) but compared to most, the sound doesn't bother me at all; reminds me that this beast is doing it's job Hope my input helped!

    PS, stick with Windows 7

Get the i5 dude.. my brothers first computer was AMD based with an AMD Processor, and he realized down the road Intel was definitely worth the money to spend! Don't be fooled by AMD and their cheap products.

I'm on i5 2500k 3.3ghz overclocked to 4.5ghz. I was botting 10 tibias at once, it's my best cuz I couldn't find more accounts to bot. Right now im on 2 tibias with HUDs enabled and I stay on 15% cpu usage, 3-4% on tibia 0-2% on bot
